Carolina Strawberry

Carolina Strawberry
I think I’m getting to the last few beers from the Carolina Beer company. Tonight I take another step toward depleting the supply: Carolina Strawberry.

My brother really enjoyed this one. He drank all but one that my mother had bought me! I can see why. It’s pretty light, low alcohol (4.6%), and pretty drinkable.

My two frames of reference for strawberry beer are Pete’s Wicked Strawberry Blonde and Fruli. It has been a long time since I’ve had the Blonde, and a few months since I had Fruli. Fruli was very intensely flavored. The Blonde much less so, but still full flavored.

The Carolina Strawberry is more beer than fruit, and I would classify it as having the least amount of fruitiness between the three beers. It’s sweet, but not overly sweet.

Pretty decent beer all around.
