Carolina Blonde

Carolina Blonde
I basically took the long 4th July weekend off from beer reviews. I did NOT abstain from beer. In fact I had some beers that I haven’t even reviewed yet. When I’m “off duty”, I don’t try to review.

Monday nights are bachelor night…my wife is at yoga. I’m watching some UFC and drinking this Carolina Blonde. It is the very last of the beers my mother brought back from North Carolina.

It poured with a good amount of head, which very quickly dissipated. The aroma is slightly bready, but might have a little hint of clove. The taste is mild. Tastes like beer. :) Not a ton to mention.

For a moment I thought this was a wheat beer, and got confused. Checking the label, I see that it is a pilsner.

The beer is light, and goes down quickly. I have a second one in the fridge, which I’m positive I’ll be downing following this.
