Clipper City Marzhon

Clipper City Marzhon
The weekend is plugging right along. Today was crazy busy. Picked up the little brother, and then went apple picking. It was a ZOO. Most of the trees were picked clean. I had to hoist him up on my shoulders just to get some decent apples. Big Patriots party at our place tomorrow, so I spent a bunch of time cleaning house as well. Now I’m on to watching more Sopranos and relaxing with a Clipper City Marzhon.

The aroma of this puppy is CRAZY strong. At first I thought I was smelling bananas, but I quickly realized it was cloves. Very little head. No lacing whatsoever.

The flavors are dull at best. The beer trades flavor for drinkability. The 12 ounces is disappearing fast. The flavor that is there resembles apples. The beer isn’t particularly sweet, nor is it particularly bitter.

All in all, Clipper City Marzhon is a fairly boring beer. Normally such a beer wouldn’t get a nod from me, however there is something about a REALLY smooth Oktoberfast that is turning me on. I recommend you give it a try.
