Great Divide Titan IPA

Great Divide Titan IPA
FRIDAY! FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOMMMM!!!! No big plans for the weekend. Hanging with the little brother tomorrow morning, friends on Saturday evening, and then my nephew’s baptism on Sunday. Today was an excellent day. Busted out of work a little early and went beer shopping. Check out the “In my Fridge” section…I’m all stocked up! For dinner we made some soba noodles and veggie dumplings. Now I’m watching some girly movie and I’m going to make an effort to get drunk.

I started out with a Bolder Beer Mojo, but I won’t be reviewing that just yet. 2nd in line is Great Divide Titan IPA. Clocks in at 6.8% ABV, so this should move things right along.

The Titan poured with a good amount of head. Hangs around for a lifetime. Tons of frothy lace. Coloring is a foggy amber. Aroma is standard for an IPA.

I didn’t taste the beer while it was stone cold; I waited about 10 minutes before diving into it. At this temperature it’s pleasant. Pretty sweet up front, with bitterness sneaking-in for the aftertaste. Medium levels of hoppyness as far as IPAs go. I guess that’s all I have to say. Moving on to the next beer.
