According to multiple sources including the Burlington Free Press and the Rock Art website Hansen beverage company has come to an agreement with Rock Art Brewery and the cease and desist has been withdrawn.
More details will be released later, but early reports state that Rock Art agreed to never enter the energy drink market. Pretty simple, and probably more of a gesture than anything else. I suppose Monster couldn't just drop the cease and desist without some kind of concession from Rock Art.
The Free Press also reported that Bernie Sanders gave Matt at Rock Art a phone call asking what he could do to help. I DIRECTLY attribute that phone call to all of you who followed my "12 things" list, which including contacting Mr. Sanders.
