Boulder Beer Mojo India Pale Ale

Boulder Beer Mojo India Pale Ale
I’ve been off the grid for awhile. We had a four day weekend, which was jam-packed. Most of the weekend involved drinking copious amounts of light beer and pretending that I was 19 again. Let me tell you what…I can still put it away like I used to, but the time my body needs to recover has changed over the years! Tonight we’re watching the incredibly odd movie “Lemony Snickets”. When did Jim Carrey start sucking so bad?

The one good thing about a bad movie is that I can focus on a beer. Boulder Beer Mojo India Pale Ale to be exact.

I mis-poured it a bit, ending up with about 3 inches of thick foam. No worries. I killed a bunch of time messing with photos while I waited for the head to fizzle away. Left some decent laving behind.

The color is a clear, light amber. Don’t let the lightness fool you: it’s 7.2% ABV.

Cold, this beer is BITTER. Citrus is the primary flavor (grapefruit). I had to give the beer a good 15 minutes of warming up before it was enjoyable. Still plenty bitter, just not oppressive. After a long weekend of chugging, this sipper is just what the doctor ordered.
