Finally chilling out after a LONGGGGGG day. Watching the movie Without a Paddle which is pretty damn funny. It’s turning my day around. As a little piece of side commentary, I’d like to note that this is the last movie we’re ever watching from Blockbuster Online’s service. We’ve been customers for over 3 years, but the quality of service in the last 6 months has been awful. We’re now officially Netflix people.
Shortly after pouring the Southern Tier IPA I noticed that the head was slowly settling and looked uber fluffy. Reminded me of slightly whipped heavy cream. Check it out!
I’ll use my last IPA (Boulder Beer Mojo) as a point of reference. I don’t like comparing beers heads-up, but these two are similar. Both are filled with citrusy hops. The Southern Tier is much more mild in the bitter department. It’s got more lingering flavor though…finishes a little piney actually.
I’ve had better beers from Southern Tier, but the IPA is no slouch.

I just picked up a single 12 oz bottle of this and am looking forward to giving it a try. I was a loyal Blockbuster customer as well and it has been almost 7 month since I've made the switch to Netflix. I bought a Roku box for instant streaming of online movies to my TV and heard that I'll be able to do the same with my PS3 before too long.
Yup. The PS3 streaming was a huge bonus. I've already pre-ordered my Netflix PS3 disc for streaming.
Netflix didn't start off so hot. Furst disc had issues playing 1/2 way through the movie (G.I. Joe). I had to return it.
