A taste for hops can take time to develop. Don't give up. Some of the best beers are hoppy. My wife used to cringe at even the smell of hops, but can now drink (albeit a small amount) some more balanced IPAs. The piney flavor also isn't for everyone, including some serious hopheads. I'll have to pick up another bottle of that. I liked it when I tried it. Rock Art has some interesting sweeter beers too. You should visit their brewery. It's tiny, but personable.
