Tonight I’m drinking a semi-home brew that I took home from my recent trip to brew beer with coworkers. It’s an Ocktoberfest called Deja Fest. It’s a decent beer for the style. None of the stuff I’ve brewed at this place has really knocked my socks off…except maybe the Jealous White.
No pictures of the beer tonight. I’m drinking straight of of the non-label 22oz bottle. It’s mildly hoppy (floral). Decent carbonation. Meh.
I’m feeling meh in general tonight. I had an upset stomach and treated it with some take-out Chinese food. A real smart one, I am, eh?
This week was one big adventure. As you may have noticed, my little brother stayed with us all week. I’ve never hung out with him for longer than 2 days, so it was a trip. He’s a good kid and didn’t cause any trouble. Having anyone in your house for more than a few days gets old though. Today we took him to Boston to check out Boston University. Tonight I did a bunch of errands before coming home and making myself sick(er) on crab rangoon, vegi rolls, scallion pancakes, and vegi dumplings. Now we are watching the movie Ladder 49.
I didn’t want to go without any pictures tonight so I’ve included a picture of my little brother Nick and our dog Brady. These were from last night and were taken 30 seconds apart. Odd coincidence that they were both lying down pretty similarly.
