Long Trail Harvest

Long Trail Harvest

Drank a long trail harvest with dinner tonight. I wasn’t a huge fan. The beer is relatively bland. In the world of fall beers, I’d put it only a notch above the sub-par Narragansett Fest beer. Note that the Harvest is actually a brown ale.

The beer is watered down, and I’ll give it this: if you wanted to drink a 6 pack of something festive, this stuff would go down fast and easy. The little flavor that was there was very light roasted malts and maybe a little nuttiness.

Although I really didn’t like it, I’d recommend it to someone who normally drank Bud or Coors who wanted to venture into craft beer. It would be a good entry-level type beer.
