Yesterday we played another game of 20 Beer Questions on the LIBA Facebook page. Lots of people participated. They figured the beer out in 22 questions…close, but no cigar!
The beer I used was this Blue Moon Pale Moon Belgian style ale. It was left behind on poker night last week, so it’s the best kind of beer: free!
It’s not much of a pale ale. Very little hop bitterness. Caramel malt and what I thought was honey give it a distinct sweetness. That said, the label says the beer is brewed with hibiscus; the honey I tasted may have been hibiscus.
Overall, it’s a decent beer which I could drink a few of.
