I’m about half way into the movie “The Fighter”. The flick is good. I grew up in New England and have lived 30 minutes away or less from Lowell, MA (where the story takes place) for the last 10 years. I know Micky Ward makes appearances from time to time in the area…maybe I’ll swing by one sometime.

While watching I’m sipping on this Flying Dog in Heat Wheat hefeweizen. It’s a delicious beer. I’ve always been a big Flying Dog Brewery fan, and this beer doesn’t disappoint.

The dominant flavors are clove and banana, neither of which came through in the aroma. Medium carbonation adds a bubbly sting to the mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Very good summer beer!
