Opening a beer with a nuclear bomb

The other day I made an epic beer run and then had people guess what beers I came home with. Loyal follower Matt (@chiroguydc) was the only person to respond. He correctly identified the following beers from the haul:

Otter Creek Otter Summer
Sam Summer
Otter Creek Black IPA
Sam Adams Cream Stout
Opa-Opa IPA
Southampton Double White
Troegs Dreamweaver
Opa Opa Blueberry Lager
Sam Adams Cherry Wheat
Ipswich Orig. Ale
Flying Dog In-Heat Wheat
Otter Creek Stovepipe Porter
Tremont Freedom Trail IPA
Sam Adams Light
Opa Opa Red Rock Amber Ale
Samuel Adams Boston Ale
Wolaver Oatmeal Stout
Sierra Nevada Kellerweis
Harpoon IPA
Otter Creek IPA
Sam Adams Blackberry Witbier
Opa Opa Light
Otter Creek Copper Ale
Wolaver’s IPA

Although he didn’t get them all, I promised a prize to anyone who made an effort. So, Matt is going to take home this here bottle opener.

This isn’t any opener though. This is the “Beers not Bombs” opener from the folks at FromWarToPeace.com and it’s a $20 value. The opener is made from copper that has been taken from disarmed nuclear weapons.

The founders of From War to Peace are all about turning weapons meant to destroy us into an entire line of beautiful are, jewelry, and tools meant to restore us. Make sure you stop by their website to check out their other bottle openers and the rest of their products.
