Woodstock Inn Weasel Wheat Ale

Woodstock Inn Weasel Wheat Ale

Tonight I started class…again. Someday I’ll be done with this MBA…someday. The good news is that the professor for this new class seems to be cool shit. A good teacher makes all the difference in the world.

Woodstock Inn Weasel Wheat Ale

Tonight’s beer is Weasel Wheat Ale from the Woodstock Inn Brewery. I bought this bottle on complete impulse. You see, I have a thing for weasels. Not sure why. I just do. And how awesome does that weasel on the label look? How could I not purchase a bottle? OK, so what if Seymour (the name I have given the weasel) gets negative points for blowing the head clean off the beer? I still love him.

Now that I’m sitting down to drink it, I’m realizing I have purchased a raspberry wheat ale – not my favorite style by any stretch. Tricked by a weasel – AGAIN!

The beer isn’t bad. The raspberry flavors are strong, but not syrupy or medicinal. At 4.3% ABV, it ends up being easy to drink. Tons of stingy carbonation. That’s pretty much the sum of this beer; nothing complex. Me and Seymour are gonna hang out now…
