Six Point Bengali Tiger

As I mentioned yesterday, I got together with my buddy Adam to do some co-reviewing the other night. I picked up the Six Point Bengali Tiger because: #1. I love Six Point. #2: Every prior time I had gone to the liquor store, they were out of the Tiger. #3: Adam loves American IPAs.

My opinion of Sixpoint only got better with this beer. I found it to be fantastic. Tasted like a sweet grapefruit with (relatively) little bitterness. It felt more like an English IPA than an American one.

Adam, on the other hand, was not a huge fan. He didn’t think it was flavorful enough. He said he “wouldn’t order it”, and called it over-hyped. I can’t disagree with the latter. That all said, by the time his glass was nearing empty Adam was starting to warm to the beer and admittedly began changing his mind about the Tiger.

It was an excellent evening of craft beer; drinking and reviewing is so much more fun when you’re not alone!
