Today my wife and I celebrate our 9-year wedding anniversary. Holy hell, time flies! Look at those before and after pictures. I was 24 and had (awful) hair. Not one day do I wake up and miss that mess. But I digress.

Melissa and I are off celebrating in Boston this evening. First up, vegan pizza at Peace O’ Pie. Next, drinks at Deep Ellum. Finally FoMu vegan ice cream (faux moo, get it?). And before you meat eaters give me shit, go screw. I don’t say anything about your anniversary fois gras and 6oz fillet, so keep your comments to yourself. XOXO

Since we’re going to be out, I thought I’d throw you a quick beer review before hand. Clown Shoes Muffin Top is where it is at. The beer is a belgian style IPA, although it’s heavy on the belgian and light on the IPA.

The label tells us we should be reminded of orange peel, American hops, and candied fruits. Orange peel – yes. American hops – not really. Candied fruits – absolutely (and deliciously so!). I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this beer. It’s 10% ABV. It brings a ton of Belgian spice mixed with a ton of fruity sweetness. It tastes like a drinkable fruit pastry!!

Watch out though folks! This bad-Larry is 10% ABV and will drop your ass like a 16 year old at his/her first high school keg party.
