Jack’s Abby Leisure Time Lager

Jack's Abby Leisure Time Lager

Man, what a great weekend and even better weather! The last couple of day could have been spoiled by two things:

  1. My grandmother passed away.
  2. My IBS was ridiculously bad today.HOWEVER…(get ready for some glass half full action folks)
    1. Gramma was sick and in pain. She’s in a better place now. I’m actually happy that she was able to move on. RIP Grams! Say hello to Grampa and uncle Russ for me.
    2. My IBS got infinitely better this evening with a little beer consumption. I’m now enjoying a DELICIOUS review-brew.

OH…and Sunday night TV is about to start, including the return of Breaking Bad!

The aforementioned delicious review-brew is Jack’s Abby Leisure Time Lager. This is a pale wheat lager that comes in at a chug-worthy 4.8% ABV. This beer is the epitome of summer. It pours a golden yellow color. Although by color, it looks like your standard macro-brewed lager, it tastes nothing like Bud, Coors, etc.

It’s light and effervescent (I think that means bubbly). It has a hint of wheaty/bready flavor, with the main flavor being summery sweet lemon. Highly recommended, much like the other Jack’s Abby beer I have tried!
