Jack’s Abby Red Tape

Jack's Abby Red Tape

I just got back from a bad-ass run. 19 minutes, 2.6 miles and a pace of 7:12 per mile. Feeling strong! It’s time to drink some beer to celebrate.

In preparation of tomorrow’s festivities, I’m throwing back this Jack’s Abby Red Tape lager.

Jack's Abby Red Tape

The Red tape is named as such because it was Jack’s pilot brew and celebrated getting through all the red tape required for opening a brewery.

The beer is straight forward; nothing fancy here. To go along with the name, the beer has a amber/red hue to it. Nothing doing in the foam department. Well balanced with a mix of malt and a touch of barely-floral hops.

It’s not going to blow your doors off, but it’s pretty tasty.
