Another week down. How the fuck does time fly by so quick? It’s total crap. Then again, this week at work was another rough one, so I’m glad it’s over.
Before I get to tonight’s review, a quick advertisement. My buddy Norm will be available to sign his book this Saturday. A bunch of us are going down to Lord Hobo on Saturday, 4pm. Stop by if you’re local and in the area.
And now back to our regularly scheduled beering…
Uinta Wyld is in my glass this evening, and let me tell you, it should be in yours. This pale ale is SO delicious. Maybe it was the rough week at work. Maybe it is the fact I had a God awful Magic Hat #9 beforehand. Whatever the scenario…Wyld is tasting AWESOME right now.
It’s my idea of a perfect pale ale: well balanced, but noticeably tipping over to to the bitter/hoppy side. The brew starts with a malty sweetness and fades into citrus and floral delights. The stuff dreams are made of. I wish I had a six pack, or at least one of those beer-helments with a two bottles of Wyld on top.
