Mayflower Autumn Wheat Ale

Mayflower Autumn Wheat Ale

It’s day 2 in the Dominican Republic. There is about a 70% chance I’m naked in one of the two hot-tubs we have in our suite. There’s a 100% chance that I’ve been drinking since 10:00am local time.

I’ve queued this review up, so you poor working saps have LIBA to keep your spirits up. :)

The brew review today is the Mayflower Autumn Ale. This beer is a dark wheat ale…a style I’ve never had before. It reminds me of dunkleweizens that I have had. It’s malty and a bit spicy. The wheat adds a breadiness. If you google the beer, many other reviewers call out a banana flavor. I didn’t particularly pick up on that.

Overall it was a good beer that was a little unique and quite tasty.
