I’m finally getting back into the swing of beer reviews. Vacation slowed things down and now that I’m back I’m swamped with a promotion at work and catching up on school work. I’m ready to get back to it though!
Tonight’s brew review is Menemsha Creek Pale Ale brewed on Martha’s Vineyard by Offshore Ales. It pours a cloudy amber color and has a medium head that quickly dissipated. It smells hoppy. On the pallet it’s hoppy as well. The malt just barely comes through, quickly being swept away by bitter fruity hops. The finish is even hoppier and has a floral aspect. It’s a good beer if you’re a hop head.
I’ve got a mild sore throat tonight. Here’s hoping I’m not getting my wife’s cold. Damn colds make beer reviews completely impossible!
