Switchback Ale

Good evening folks. I hope many of you have the week off and are enjoying the holiday break. I had to work today, but the lack of anyone else in the office made it easy sailing.

Switchback Ale

Tonight’s review is of Switchback Ale. Switchback brewery is in the state of Vermont. They VERY recently started bottling and my mom managed to score me a bottle, despite how fast it’s flying off shelves.

You should note that this Switchback brew is unfiltered. My bottle contained a TON of sea monkeys (floating yeast particles). If you look click on the picture below you’ll clearly see white bits of yeast.

The 5% ABV beer is a pale ale is easy to drink all around. It has a mild earthy hop character, which is well rounded out by caramel hops. I can see why it’s so popular.
