My meteorologist friend tells me that we’re gonna get HAMMERED with snow again this coming weekend. That will be three weekends in a row. Depending on a few variables, this storm could be another monster. I’m ready for spring.

Tonight’s beer is a gift from Moms in Vermont: Northshire Chocolate Stout. I’ve had it in the fridge for a couple of months, but expect it held up well.

This chocolate stout is smooth and surprisingly light bodied; I might mistake it for a porter. For flavors I get chocolate, a hint of coffee and roasted malt. As it warms, sweetness starts to take over and the bomber becomes a bit difficult to plow through. A pint of this stuff is delicious, but a bomber is excessive.
