Night Shift Taza Stout

Night Shift Taza Stout

It’s been a busy week here. The last couple of evenings I’ve left from work, run home to change clothes, and then headed out until returning late at night. Today I’m taking the day off of work to relax. After this post, I’m probably headed outdoors to soak up some sun. Here in New England it’s FINALLY creeping up into the 50s.

Today’s review is a hold-over from Monday when my wife’s model Michelle reviewed some beer with me. Our second beer was the Night Shift Taza Stout. This beer took me completely by surprise with it’s tart flavor. I was expecting a huge chocolate flavor, but instead I got a far more Belgian/Flanders Red feel to it. Yeah, it had some coffee notes and some chocolate notes…but far less than expected.

Michelle said it was “bubbly on the lips” and liked it. I really enjoyed how unique it was.
