The last couple of days I’ve been posting about the Wasatch and Squatters beers I got to try over the weekend. This final post captures my thoughts on Wasatch Polygamy Porter and Wasatch Devestator.
The Polygamy Porter was my favorite brew from the batch. From the first sip, I found the flavor profile very interesting. The first thing I noted was how creamy the mouth feel was. The brew is rich; chocolate flavor mixes with vanilla and some faint liquorice. It reminded me a whole lot of what a Guinness ice cream float tastes like. Despite drinking this porter on a humid summery evening, I really enjoyed it.
The last beer I had was the Devestator, a 8% ABV Double Bock, which I enjoyed during a firework show that our hosts put on for us. I found it to be sweet with caramel and toffee flavors. It was just an OK beer for me.
