Wolaver’s Pumpkin Ale

Wolaver's Pumpkin Ale

Tonight we watched the zombie movie World War Z. Overall it was a pretty good movie. Fans of the book will say the movie is an abomination, but I haven’t read the book, so there you go. My wife did not enjoy it; “too scary” she said multiple times. It was pretty suspenseful, although predictable in my opinion. I’m also a sucker for zombie flicks.

Tonight’s brew review is Wolaver’s Pumpkin Ale. Props always go to Wolaver’s for: #1 – being organic and #2 – being from my home state of Vermont. This pumpkin ale is lighter than some of the others I have tried this fall and is thus a lot more drinkable. If you’re looking for a heavily spiced pumpkin beer, this might be a good choice. It’s loaded full of cloves and nutmeg, with pumpkin hiding in the background.

Overall, a decent beer for casual fall drinking.
