Another weekend has come and gone. Normally I’d be sad, but I’m really looking forward to my next sitting for my tattoo, which is on Thursday.
Last night we attended a belated Christmas party hosted by my buddy Kevin and his wife Emily. Unlike the other Yankee swaps I took part in this past holiday season, I ended up with a gag gift. Lucky for you, I have a sense of humor and I’ll be reviewing the product tonight. It has been a while since I embarrassed myself in front of an audience of thousands…
As it’s namesake alludes to, Smartworks Pot N’ Putt it a golf putting system designed for bathroom use. The package contains:
- Felt putting green
- Plastic putter
- Plastic cup and flag
- Two plastic golf balls
- Do not disturb sign
As I tried out the product, I had some concerns. First, one cannot expect this product to help with his golf game. Even if you discount the plastic balls and putter, the posture (or lack thereof) used while potty-putting is far from ideal. Perhaps, if the putter shaft was longer and more akin to a belly (anchored) putter, it could be a more realistic experience.
Secondly, the size of the felt limits the
pooper putter to very short distance putts, no more than a foot or two in length.
That all said, if you’re looking for a casual, non-realistic game of plastic mini golf while dropping a deuce, this set will do the trick. Pot N’ Putt sells for $13 on Amazon. FORE!
As I reviewed this product, I enjoyed a can of Baxter Phantom Punch. This 6.8% ABV American Stout has attractive packaging, which drew me in. The pour had plenty of head, with great lacing. Sadly, I was hoping for more chocolate and vanilla flavors, since it’s brewed using those ingredients; it packs in more chocolate than vanilla. It’s an average stout.
