Maine Beer Another One

Maine Beer Another One

Yesterday I was a complete mess. For the last few days I was feeling under the weather and yesterday it hit me like a truck. I bounced out of work around 3:00 and, with the exception of a couple of waking hours, didn’t get up for the next 15 hours. I woke up this morning feeling quite a bit better though. We had yet another monster snow storm today, which gave me a second excuse to work from home and rest more. Fast forward to tonight and I’m still not 100%, but I feel well enough to review some beer!

Maine Beer Another One is the brew of choice. I jumped at the chance to try this, as I have enjoyed most of the other beers from the Maine Beer Co. Another One, an American IPA, is a cousin (if you will) of Weez, a black IPA; they used the same hops in each beer, but different malts.

Another One is a full flavored IPA. It pours with a fantastic whipped-egg-white-like head and is a golden yellow/orange color. For flavors, it’s all about the hops. I get tropical citrus with a hint of pine. Thoroughly tasty, and another winner!
