Tonight I’m scrambling around before jetting off to trivia night with friends. I worked another long day, rushed home, made dinner in under 10 minutes (salad for the win), and I’m now typing, eating and drinking all at the same time in an attempt to complete a super quick beer review.
As I rummaged through the refrigerator a few minutes ago, I had two main missions:
- Find suitable salad toppings
- Find a beer that I could chug in record time, still give a fair review for, and wouldn’t leave me unable to drive.
Uinta Trader ended up being a perfect fit. It’s a 4% ABV session IPA, and it’s fantastic. It’s absolutely packed full of hops, packign a surprising punch in that department. It’s got a nice grainy malt backbone that keeps the brew from being too bitter. That said, this is no beginner’s IPA…approach with caution. Hop heads looking to sock-back a bunch of beer in a sitting will absolutely love this.
