Well, I just can’t wait any longer. I must crack open my bottle of Wormtown Budda’s Juice that I scored the other night. Although I’ve had the bee a couple of times before, I’ve never reviewed it. The bottle I got was a “brewery second”…a hold back that wasn’t good for commercial sale due to the amount of sediment. As far as flavor, the sediment has no impact and this 9.5% ABV imperial IPA is as good as I remember it being.

The beer is brewed using a tropical citrus fruit called Budda’s hand, as well as grapefruit peel. The result is a ridiculously hoppy, grapefruit, tropical citrus hop-bomb. It’s totally a hop-lovers beer and should not be approached by the hop-amateur. It’s intense for even my pallet, which I think has truly matured to a point where I might call myself a hop head. Nevertheless, it’s delicious!
