Shipyard Monkey Fist

Shipyard Monkey Fist

If you’re a long time LIBA reader, you’re probably aware of my golf woes, specifically around my slice. Tonight I took my first of a series of six lessons, in an attempt to fix the damn slice once and for all. It was a great session where my instructor fixed my grip and my club rotation. As with any major tweak to your golf game, it feels incredibly odd to swing with the adjustments, however once you see a few balls fly 250 yards absolutely straight, you start being really open to the new feeling.

Shipyard Monkey Fist

To celebrate the beginning of the end of my craptastic golf swing, I am drinking a bottle of Shipyard Monkey Fist. This brew is a super hoppy, but typical citrus-bomb American IPA. It brings a bunch of grapefruit and tangerine flavors and finishes kind of dry. It’s not a bad beer, but it’s also nothing particularly unique. That all said, it’s good enough that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a pint if I saw it on tap.

Finally, I have not forgotten my promise last night, to post a video of my finished tattoo. See below.

  1. Nice tat! Shipyard gets distributed down where I am in Virginia but I haven’t see Monkey Fist before. I’ll be on the lookout for it. Cheers, Josh!
