Offshore Ale Menemsha Creek Pale Ale

Offshore Ale Menemsha Creek Pale Ale

You’ll have to forgive me this evening for my lack of intro and wittiness. I worked a very long and draining day and after dinner and a beer, I’m completely spent. It’s all I can muster to write even this!

A few weeks back we visited Martha’s Vineyard and Offshore Ale Company. During that trip I scored a bottle of Offshore Ale Menemsha Creek Pale Ale. Tonight I drink said beer.

I keep flip-flopping on this one. At first I got a lot of malt and immediately liked it. After a few more sips, I was finding the piny hops too much. By the time the glass was empty, I liked it again. I do think that it’s relatively well balanced, although it’s surely more bitter than sweet. I believe this is a limited edition brew, so unless you’re on the Island, it may be difficult to find. Than again, my brain is absolutely fried and I could be totally wrong. Whatevs…I’m off to fall asleep on the couch.
