Agner & Wolf Marzen

Agner & Wolf Marzen

My training for a 10-mile race next month is going very well. In the last 7 days, I ran 22 miles (three runs). I’m feeling very strong and very positive. Right now I just have to pray I don’t get injured. Do any of you runners have tips to avoid getting hurt in the last few weeks before a big run?

Tonight there is no running. Instead, I’m hanging out with the wife and drinking a bottle of Agner & Wolf Marzen. Agner & Wolf are a relatively new brewery out of Nashua, NH. This is the first beer I’ve tried from them.

And let me tell you, this one is hitting the spot. The beer is an Oktoberfest marzen style with 5.2% ABV. It’s super drinkable, with nothing but caramel malt and a slight hint of earthiness. It’s frankly nothing unique, but this is just what the doctor ordered. No overbearing or whacky flavors…just delicious beer. Yum.
