Avery Old Jubilation Ale

Avery Old Jubilation Ale

Sadly this is my final full day in Cancun. That is, unless I’ve been kidnapped by the cartels during our 2am tour of Mexico’s back alleys. Just kidding, mom. Although I’m surely looking for some way to extend my stay…perhaps a career change. Tending bar on the beach perhaps? Tempting…

Tonight I’m tossing you a review of Avery Old Jubilation Ale, which I enjoyed on Christmas eve. This is an old ale style beer and is 8.3% ABV. The label calls for hazelnut flavors, although I only get a faint nuttiness. The beer is mainly sweet, with deep malt flavors and a hint of chocolate. For 8.3%, I chugged it down pretty quick, so apparently it wasn’t too sweet! No complaints here. Good beer.
