Shed Nosedive

Shed Nosedive

Very quick post today. Just enough to give you your daily dose of LIBA…

Before going on vacation I had a chance to try Shed Nosedive. The beer, labeled as a “robust vanilla porter” is neither robust, nor terribly vanilla(y). It’s a light bodied, easy drinking porter. Mild coffee flavored malts are the main players. I picked up virtually no vanilla flavors. At first, I was not a fan; I found it lacking flavor and too thin in the finish. However, as I kept drinking I grew to enjoy it for it’s drinkability. It’s nothing to write home about, but if you’re looking for a sessionable porter, this might do the job.
