North Taiwan Brewery Happiness Wheat Beer

North Taiwan Brewery Happiness Wheat Beer

Tomorrow the contractors come to deal with my water damage debacle. I’m looking forward to blogging tomorrow with pictures of the demolishion that expect will ensue. I’m expecting the worst, but hoping for much better.

Tonight I’m downing my last beer from Taiwan, North Taiwan Brewery Happiness Wheat Beer. First off, I love the label; the little guy running toward the wheat makes me happy. As for flavor, it’s quite unique. I was expecting a run-of-the-mill wheat beer, but instead found it to have an unfamiliar fruity character. It most closely reminds me of dark fruit (perhaps grape). Checking out the other internet reviews of the beer, I see others have picked up on this and are equally baffled. Besides a little weird, I actually like the taste. Easy drinking. Recommended for the next time you’re in Taiwan.
