Madtree Rubus Cacao

Tonight starts our regular Tuesday night church commitment, which lasts until spring time. It’s been a nice summer of having our Tuesday nights free. We spent many Tuesdays playing trivia at local bars, an activity that will now move to Wednesday nights. Before heading out tonight, I’m reviewing one of the few beers left from my Tavour box: Madtree Rubus Cacao.

The brew is an American Stout, made with cocao nibs and raspberries. And holy hell, does it ever taste like a chocolate covered raspberry! This is a dessert beer, through and through. Pretty damn tasty, but I can’t imagine drinking more than one, given how sweet it is.
